Creative
Precise

For FEV, studiokurbos designed an electric sports sedan for the Lunet research project, shaping both exterior and interior, while FEV handled packaging and technical engineering. The project was realized as a complete vehicle concept—from the first sketches to the final CGI visualizations. Artificial intelligence supported the process throughout, aiding both creative ideation and precise execution. The combination of design intuition and technical precision turned the project into an experimental space for innovative methods in automotive design.

Precision

The goal was to create a striking sports sedan where design and technology visibly merge. Exterior and interior form a cohesive, distinctive identity. A parametric design system was used to shorten design loops and accelerate early-stage decisions while maintaining high design quality. Design and technical parameters were developed together from the start.

Quality
Systematized

At the core was the question of how design quality can be systematically structured without losing its expressive power. Proportion, tension, and character were not just intuitively created—they were transformed into a formal, parametrisable logic. An experimental method was developed to automatically generate parametric polygon shells with high maturity from just a few input parameters.

A hybrid evaluation approach, combining quantitative parameters with expert qualitative assessment, replaced attempts at purely objective design measurement. The goal is a scalable design system that allows variation without diluting identity—and increases efficiency without sacrificing creative substance.

The Lunet research project focused on how design quality can be systematically captured without losing its expressive strength. Proportion, tension, and character were translated into a parametrisable logic. A method was developed to automatically generate mature parametric polygon shells from minimal input parameters.

A hybrid approach, combining measurable parameters and expert evaluation, replaces purely objective design measurement. The aim is a scalable design system that allows diversity, preserves identity, and simultaneously increases efficiency.

Interior

Orange
Flow

The interior reflects a clear, driver-focused sports spirit with a minimal, precise design approach. The 4+1 seating layout—two front, two rear—is specially designed for the European market, combining comfort and functionality. A flowing, orange C&T element frames the driver area, highlighting the cockpit as the pulsating center of the vehicle.

Displays form a visual bridge from the steering wheel across the dashboard to the center console, creating an elegant, continuous line. Essential functions remain directly accessible via physical buttons, giving the driver uncompromised control. With a focus on clarity, precision, and intuitive usability, the interior harmoniously merges with the exterior into a thoughtfully integrated, holistic automotive experience.
